Alicia Murray

Alicia has 12 years’ experience in the public health sector where she worked in strategic, governance, service redesign, project and program management positions as well as leadership roles within the Department for Health and Wellbeing. With an educational foundation in Health Sciences and Law; Alicia has demonstrated success in driving service performance, continuous improvement and redesign opportunities through evidence-based service evaluation.
Alicia was significantly involved in leading the Project Management Office responsible for the development and implementation of key Health Department strategies including hospital substitution services and other integrated hospital avoidance programs and service models.
Alicia worked as an Assistant Director leading a multi-disciplinary team responsible for overseeing the operation of multiple, large scale, out-of-hospital programs including contract and project management, data analysis and reporting, management of activity-based funding, stakeholder engagement and media and communications activities. Alicia has worked closely with the South Australian Local Health Networks, other Commonwealth and state government agencies as well as private and non-government organisations, not only in the health sector but also on integrated work with the Aged Care and Disability sectors.
