Yumiko Bonnardeaux
Senior Consultant
Originally starting her career as a scientist, with a PhD in molecular biology, Yumiko (Yumi) became drawn to science communications, which sparked a 17-year journey in strategic communications, change management and stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, education, juvenile justice, engineering and environment in both Australia and the United States. Her expertise spans a broad range of competencies, from culture transformation to implementing strategic change frameworks and driving business process improvements.
A curious thinker and change agent, Yumi enjoys problem-solving and guiding clients, businesses, and teams through complex challenges to achieve sustainable, impactful outcomes. Beyond her project-based expertise, Yumi also serves as a trusted advisor and board member in the mental health and disability sectors.
Outside of work, and when she is not a volunteer chauffeur for her kids, she enjoys walks, board games, and exploring places with her family; attempting to paint or finish a book, and trying to keep her plants alive.
